Commonly Asked Questions

Will my Mt Fuji Cherry blossom remain the same size?

Mt Fuji blossoms have been grafted so that the “stem” of the plant will remain the same size, from there the plant will grow in an upright vase shape. Graft heights are 1.5m but do vary slightly, for your preferred graft height, please talk to our friendly team.

When do Cherry trees blossom?

Enjoy snowy white blooms in Spring, transforming into green foliage as the Summer approaches. Then enjoy the seasonal interest and the foliage transforms into vibrant Autumn tones, before the leaves begin to fall.

What is the difference between a regular Mt Fuji or a Standard Mt Fuji?

A regular Mt Fuji trees has been left to grow in its natural form and is an extremely beautiful cherry blossom. Standard trees are graft, at a heigh of either 1.5 meters or 1.8 meters. They will have one single straight trunk and from there fan out in a spectacular vase shaped form. The height of the stem will remain the same, while the upright branches continue to grow. This form is ideal for planter pots or underplanting.
